New blocks for HTTP requests<\/h2>\n

Version 14.0 features new blocks for sending HTTP and HTTPS requests, implemented specifically for Linux using the CURL open source library. These blocks give users the ability to exchange data with web servers, both local and online, for more dynamic applications.<\/p>\n

Python wrapper for the “CP5” library<\/h2>\n

The CP5 library supplied with the development kit includes an ANSI C library that enables easy implementation of our T5 protocol for basic operations such as starting \/ stopping \/ downloading \/ reading and writing variables. In addition to the library delivered as C source code, the development kit now includes a wrapper for the Python language, enabling even more seamless integration and extended automation of tests linked to the straton runtime.<\/p>\n

Widgets API for extended strings<\/h2>\n

We have introduced a new API allowing the manipulation of UNICODE (UTF16) character strings for all straton widgets and public libraries. This advance enables our users to extend the capabilities of their applications by exploiting a wider range of characters. These APIs work with multibyte strings (ANSI MCBS), which remain available.<\/p>\n
