STRATON AUTOMATION is proud to announce the official release of version 14.0 of our straton software. This new release brings a series of innovative features and enhancements, designed to meet the growing needs of developers in the field of industrial automation.<\/p>\n

Version 14.0 features new blocks for sending HTTP and HTTPS requests, implemented specifically for Linux using the CURL open source library. These blocks give users the ability to exchange data with web servers, both local and online, for more dynamic applications.<\/p>\n

HTTP and HTTPTXB, what’s the difference?\"\"<\/h2>\n

The major difference between the HTPP and HTPPTXB blocks lies in the type of data expected as input to each of them.<\/p>\n

Whereas the HTTP block expects data stored in the form of strings of characters (STRING) with a maximum length of 255 characters, the HTTPTXB block expects to be used in conjunction with text buffers (TXB, TeXt Buffer).<\/p>\n

In addition to being more dynamic, this means that requests are not limited to a maximum number of characters.<\/p>\n

Secure web access<\/h2>\n
