Optimised LIN configurator

The new LIN fieldbus configurator for straton simplifies and optimises the management of LIN communications. This protocol, widely used in embedded systems and the automotive industry, is now fully supported by straton, allowing a smooth and efficient integration.

• Intuitive configuration: Import LIN Description Files (LDFs) directly to automate the creation and configuration of LIN nodes and frames.
• Enhanced interoperability: Seamless integration with straton software, ensuring maximum compatibility with your existing systems.
• Simulation and complete traceability: Test variable exchanges and functional blocks via LIN simulation, with detailed monitoring in the “output” tab of the T5.EXE runtime.

Configuration and management of LIN nodes

Once the LDF configuration has been imported, users can adjust numerous parameters to meet their specific needs:

• Node customisation: definition of physical port, baud rate and node address parameters.
• LIN frame management: Precise configuration of the size and mode (sent or received) of LIN frames.
• Optimisation of aliases: the “Global Defines” allow the aliases defined in the LDF files to be reused directly in the straton program, simplifying the management of LIN configurations.

Planning and execution of LIN communications

• Advanced planning: The LINSCHEDTABLE function block enables management of LIN planning tables, which are essential when straton acts as LIN master.

• Communication control: Dynamic selection and activation of LIN scheduling tables to ensure smooth and efficient data exchange.
