Celyss, designer and manufacturer of electronic systems, has developed Quasar system for advanced sectors such as aviation, robotics, the army and transport. Their product Quasar has been integrating straton for several years now.
The SNCF wanted an efficient quality measurement system incorporating the IEC 61131-3 standard and function blocks. Their problem was the management of train and passenger information equipment through interconnection with MVB, MODBUS, EIP, CAN and J1939 protocols. Celyss then developed a specific function block to meet this need and became a privileged partner of the SNCF.
The collaboration between straton and quasar is historic.
“For this stage of our development, the Straton software was crucial. This software is fast, intuitive and the link between the various peripherals is simple to implement.” Patrick PIRON, CEO at Celyss Electronic Innovation
The SNCF immediately appreciated this solution, in particular thanks to the support of standard communication protocols on the railway market and the graphical part of the software. Straton was the ideal solution for renovation in a heterogeneous environment thanks to its modularity, ease of integration and numerous configurations.
About Quasar
The Quasar is a collaborative aggregate of intelligent modules that integrates a master CPU, Power Supply Unit and Expansion I/O Modules all interconnected through the Quasar-BUS. Mechanically easily interconnected, these I/O Modules are extremely rugged and use suitable connectors for high-reliability applications. All the I/O Modules are powered through the +12VDc rail of the QuasarBUS.
